Did I get ripped off?

Ok I gotta admit math isn't my strong point but something just doesn't add up here.

I thought I would try Kohinoor at 4818 Westwinds Dr NE as a change from Bombay Sweets. I sent DH to pick up a regular order of butter chicken (9.99) which includes one free naan bread, mutter paneer (6.99), 12 samosas (6.00) and 5 pieces of nann bread at 1.25 this should be about $30.98 but he comes back with a bill of $45.03. When DH brought it home I didn't think it should be so much so I phoned the resturant and got the individual prices. Oh yeah this isn't Kohinoor anymore... It's Lovely Sweets and Resturant. Not so lovely I'd say.

Did you order from a current menu? 50 cents per samosa seems really cheap (I've always paid what works out to $1.50 per, although I've never had Indian food in NE). Dunno about the other stuff, the price sounds reasonable, maybe 20% less than what I'm used to, Did you notiice how they answered the phone? If the establishment changed maybe you would have noticed they said Lovely instead of Kohinoor?

When I called to check I couldn't quite hear the greeting but I did ask how much the beef samosas are they said .50 before we ordered. When we were checking over the items. I asked DH how come it cost so much. I called them back and went over the prices again and they again confirmed the prices of samosas at .50. When my DH called back later to say it didn't add up they then quoted another price of 1.50. I would say they don't know what the heck they are doing over there. They also said Kohinoor sold the business two months ago and they have taken over. It's very odd considering their lunch buffet is 8.99.
