Suggestions for a 50th anniversary celebration (phoenix)
My parents are celebrating their 50th anniversary next month and we are trying to come up with a place for 10 of us (family) to have a nice dinner, perhaps where we could get a private room. There are a few picky eaters and/or a few who keep kosher. Some of their favorite places are Pizzaria Bianco which is out of the question and Tonto Grill. Price is not our main concern and someplace inexpensive and fun would be just as good as pricey and fun.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sassi's wine room is beautiful. Also, Tarbell's has a private room, but it seems a little dark and closet-like to me. Mosaic would be a great choice, too.

What about the private room at T. Cooks? Do they still have that? Or, what about a wine cellar room - is your family into that sort of thing?
Mary Elaine's (about to close, sadly) has an incredible chef's table experience (a kind of once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing) that would be out of this world.

re: aladria
Kazimierz is probably too casual. I have not been to T-Cooks in a while and the last time I was there I was not impressed with the food or service. We were considering Sassi, a wine cellar room would be cool, where are some? The drive is not an issue either as we may get a limo to take everyone.

Can you be more specific about the types of food you prefer and how far you're willing to drive? The first place that came to mind when you requested a private room was Kazimierz, but their menu is more grazing than meal-ish.
