Chocolate Cloud Cookies
Does anyone remember the chocolate cloud cookies they used to sell at C'est Bon bakery in Harvard Square? The Bakery is gone and I have never found those cookies anywhere else. They were big round and chewy with a slight taste of coffee I think? Would love to find a substitute. Thanks for your help.

That was nice of you to look that up for me. I do not think that they were the same cookie. The ones you show look like a chocolate crinkle cookie and these were not as cracked on top. They did not have confectionary sugar on top of them. They almost had the taste of a bit of coffee or just strong chocolate in them.

re: macadamianut
I remember those well - they were great. I believe the extra flavor was a bit of cinnamon. I can't really think of a replacement, but in general terms I'd be looking for a cookie that is moist but not super-rich - they weren't triple-chocolate-decadence-type cookies, just very good cocoa/chocolate cookies with that hint of cinnamon.
I also REALLY miss their ossi dei morti, which they stopped making years before they closed - crunchy/chewy/nutty/sweet/awesome.

I think Flour Bakery has something similar. Also, there's a place down Cambridge Street near MGH that sells great cookies.
