The Mexican Chicken soup is outstanding! The fajitas and carne asada are pretty good too. The food is far superior to it's sister restaurant in the Viagra triangle/Blue Agave. Also try Taberna Tapatio on Ashland & Roscoe. Decent small plates Mexican and decent margaritas. I like the mini sopes, tamales, garlic shrimp, and more. Ooops! scratch Platiyo off of my list...it's now closed. Hmm, I wonder what's going in it's place? It was described to me as Mexico City style. Most importantly, they have the best margaritas I've had in the city (next to Frontera/Topolobamba). Strong, without the 'mix' feel of a lot of the margaritas I've had here in the city. Highly recommended.
