Hi All,

We have a party to go to on bowery and bleecker on saturday night and are looking for a good, fun, not too expensive place for dinner before then. We'll be 4-6 ladies in our mid-twenties and are always looking for something fun and new so any help would be great! We're thinking tapas or greek maybe, but are open to anything! Thanks!

Closest Greek place is Snack on Bedford which would be a decent walk. Closer to your location, you've got a great tapas choice in Sala or Mercat.

There's also Pylos on 7th between 1st and avenue A. Again, a short walk, but good Greek!

The one problem with Pylos is that they can be mobbed to the nth degree on weekends. I'd suggest reserving, if they'll let you. From their website, http://www.pylosrestaurant.com/:

          Telephone, (1) 212 473.0220
          Fax, (1) 212 473.6433
          Email, info@pylosrestaurant.com

          Good luck, and enjoy!

Pylos is Delicious. Public is my choice.

They also have great tapas at Thalassa in Tribeca. Fun place and great bar!
