Good reasonable priced steaks

Where do you go in Manhattan for good, reasonably priced ($20 - $30) steaks? I would prefer somewhere near Times Square or Gramercy Park area.

Haven't been to ANgelo & Maxie's in a while, but I remember it as having steaks just as good as any of the other prime steakhouses. Maybe keeping their prices this low has had them drop off in quality, but they were great at the time. Didn't realize it was such a bargain, may have to try it again.

Angelo & Maxie's is on the corner of Park Av. S. & 19th St. While the steaks are not as high-caliber as the first-tier steakhouses, nevertheless, they are good. And the prices fit you budget. The main problem with A&M is the noise level, which can get insanely high.

I am not a fan of Les Halles. In my view, the food is mediocre at best, service is poor, and the extremely tight seating would make a sardine feel uncomfortable.

We stopped going to Les Halles years ago. I recall having the hanger steak sometime in the distant past, but at this point, I can't provide any specifics.

Les Halles has good, reasonably priced steaks - I like the hanger. And the price includes frites. At most steakhouses sides are always separate. Located on Park/28th.

If you go to Keen's during lunch hour you can get fantastic steaks at this price range.
