CPW Business Dinner

A client is coming to town this week and staying on 71st and Central Park West.

What are some good choices for dinner?

Looking for something quiet, good food, nice ambiance.

Steak, american, italian...anything would work...

Thanks!

I'll second Telepan. Also maybe Compass? Cafe Gray?

        Ended up picking compass.

        The food looks quite good.

        Thanks all.

Vince & Eddie's on West 68th between CPW / Columbus. Quiet and good food. It may actually be too quiet for semi-confidential dinner discussion but as long as there are no trade secrets being shared I would think it would pass the test. Personally, I find it could use a bit of a makeover but my friend felt it was nice and cozy. If you want something a little higher end there's Telepan, as already noted, or Picholine on W 64th.

Jean Georges, nearby, has always been a good choice for us for business dinners.

Might be a bit "high end" for his tastes.

            Any other recommendations?

How about Telepan? Ouest? 'Cesca? Ocean? Note: very few places are "quiet" in the city that never sleeps.
