Raleigh Dinner- Monday Night

Hey All
My brother is coming into town today, and I am just having a terrible time choosing a place for us to eat tonight. All of the restaurants I was thinking about are closed on Mondays! Here is what I was considering... do you have any ideas along the same lines that are open on Monday night??

-Humble Pie
-Duck & Dumpling
-Oakwood Cafe

I got the hours of operation from Citysearch so if you know that one of these is open on Mondays, please let me know :)

These are all closed on Mondays so as of now, they are all out. Did you mean it is out of business??

Pretty sure I read that it is out of business. I'll post a link if I can remember where I read it....

I read that, too, in the N&O. That space is back to being the Old Bar, and the chef/owner was considering opening a butcher shop somewhere.

It's a shame. They were such a nice couple and had some really great ideas - and good food. Just seems to have been the wrong location....

    2. 18 Seaboard is open on Mondays

          1. 518 West Italian Cafe is open on Monday nights. And it is 1/2 price bottles of wine to boot!!

            1. I know it is Tuesday but I've always had good meals at Margaux's Cafe.

              1. I can tell you that my favorite Raleigh restaurant - the Oakwood Cafe - is only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Lunch is only served weekdays. You can't go wrong with Oakwood Cafe.... have your brother come back on the weekend. :-)

At at The Pit where Nana's used to be this past weekend. I wish I had gone to Oakwood. The waitress may possibly have learned her skill in a truckstop (honey this and sugar that), and the food was a bit uneven. The meat was good - everything else was lacking.
