There were 9 of us for dinner Saturday night, and all in all it was a nice dinner.
Three people ordered the Caeser salad, two of whom thought it was great and one of them said he had three croutons and no cheese and very small pieces of lettuce. Two of us had the calamari salad which was very good, there was one regular salad and one Huntley salad which was very good.
I had the duck which I thought was very good, cooked medium with a bit if crunch in the skin. It came in a pomegranate sauce which complimented the fat of the duck. The mashed potatoes that came with it were gummy. The other folks who had the potatoes also thought the were gummy.
3 people ordered the fillet mignon and all loved it. ditto the bbq'd pork chop and the hangar steak
one person ordered the barramundi, loved it and two of us ordered the salmon and also loved it
Very disappointing, only 2 wines under $40.00 on the list, one of which was sold out! Should say someting to them about their list. I was once told that when you go to a good restaurant, and you don't know most of the wines on the list, to order the least expensive wine in the category you're looking for because a good restaurant wouldn't offer a "bad " wine. Wrong! I didn't order the wines so I don't know what they were, but I can tell you that the table enjoyed the white but the three of us who drank the red were less than impressed especially @$40/bottle. Am I in a rush to go back? It was good but not great, so the answer is no
