Close to Le Motrose Suites Hotel
Coming to LA for a few days and staying in West Hollywood at Le Motrose Suites Hotel. Any good places, within walking distance? Breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions are welcome.

The hotel is located at 900 Hammond Street W, halfway between Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd.

Your choices for good food within walking distance are somewhat limited unless you don't mind healthy walks. Uphill (steep) on Sunset, you have Blowfish (sushi--not been but decent reports on this Board), Duke's (funky diner with good breakfasts, popular with rockers), Hamlet (good soup, burgers and sandwiches), and Talesai (Thai); downhill, Santa Monica Blvd. offers Dan Tana's (pricey Italian), Eleven (American--not been but good buzz), Flavor of India (Indian), the Palm (NY steaks, fantastic lobster and chops); and, just below Santa Monica Blvd, on Melrose, Melrose Bar & Grill (eclectic) and Murano (Italian). There is also a cute looking cafe on Doheny, North of Santa Monica Blvd. called La Conversation (again, not been).

I haven't seen a report on it for sometime but you might consider walking up to the Cajun Bistro at 8301 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. It's just about 4 tenths of a mile from your hotel. This location used to be The Source and was / is famous for the scene in Annie Hall where Woody as Alvy Singer tries to convince Annie / Diane Keaton to get back together with him, (it may or may not have been where Alvy tells Annie "I don't want to move to a city where the only cultural advantage is being able to make a right turn on a red light").
