If you've not been, it is on PCH north of Granita. Granita is good -- it's just that it is another indoors restaurant (yawn) -- Malibu is for sitting outdoors, taking in the view, rays, and ambience. The view and the setting is one of the best on the Pacific coast -- and given my predilection for outdoor dining -- I find it the absolute best. I was not into the decor, but the food makes it worth going, despite the lack of a view. I recall that the lobster sandwich was pretty awesome, and I wish I could remember the other things - 2 egg dishes, specifics evade me - but I'd go back in a heartbeat.
