Indulge Cafe, formerly Mo Better Meatty Burger???
Has anyone been here yet?
Just noted from the LA mag that the owners opened up Indulge Cafe serving up the same burgers.
Also, is there any truth that the owners are vegetarian so there's also veggie burgers too??/
Thanks.

I believe at one point, the veggie burgers were homemade. Then the original owners of Mo Better sold and the new owners stopped making the homemade veggie burgers. (and ultimately drove the place into the ground)
They plan on making their veggie burgers again, but right now, they just buy their veggie burgers from a food supplier.
The turkey and beef burgers are hand pattied though, and so delicious. I haven't had the veggie burger yet at the new place.

Just tried their veggie burger. Dynamite, great stuff. Really really really good. Can't believe I'm saying this about a gosh darned veggie burger but oh, what the hell.

re: mollyomormon
I think it's hella seasoned. the same intricate spiceing (maybe not intricate, kinda exaggerating possibly) and they might make even the veggie burger themselves menaing not a pre-packaged deal a la boca, etc.
also, get it with all the greens tomatoe pickles mustard and the the shredded jack and cheddar mix and you're good to go. along with some hand cut skin on fries with a canned coke or two.
report back. the interior looks like it can be a teensy tiny coffee house, but not a burger joint.

re: kevin
Despite what some people have wrote, the veggie burger itself is a standard garden burger. But they doctor it with spices and spread hummus on it, along with the veggies so it tastes really good. The lady who owns it couldn't be sweeter. I love how she asked if we wanted our burgers pink inside or no pink but still juicy.

re: shebop
I'll be there when they open tomorrow good to hear that their veggie burgers are swell.
Interesting to note that the veggie burgers are considerably more expensive than both the beef and turkey burgers. Small menu but they do have red velvet cake and espresso brownies too.
I'm so there.

Nice, thanks for the tip. Meaty Meat was THE burger back in the day. I'm surprised this didn't make it to chowhound till now.
