Dining options in Woodinville, WA

Does anyone have any recommendations for food options in the Woodinville area? We've recently moved up here, and are looking for both take out and eat in places that come with the Chowhound seal of approval...

When we lived in Duval, the Mrs. and I ate their regularly. They used to operate out of a storefront in downtown Woodinville, but moved to a much nicer space atop the Woodinville-Duvall Rd. some years back. Not only the best Italian in the area (IMHO), but quite possibly one of the better dining options, period.

We really enjoy Ooba on 140th. The pineapple salsa and rajas quesadillas (When they have them) are delicious. The service can be a little spotty, but the food is always good.

Not something I like personally, but many people seem to like Shamiana for Indian.

Barking Frog, Purple, and Golden Goat all come to mind. Ruby's does a not half-bad breakfast, as does the Woodinville Cafe. However, for some of the best breakfasts anywhere, the Maltby Cafe is just a little distance northeast of Woodinville.

Agree on the Maltby Cafe comments, MillCreek. Yummy food and big portions.

Chan's is okay for Chinese but most of Woodinville is a vast wasteland. What kind of food do you like?

Pretty much anything! We've tried Barking Frog (brunch only) and Racha Thai, and we're familiar with Purple from their Kirkland restaurant. I'm particularly interested in a good Mexican take out place, and a good pizza place...

Isn't the Herbfarm in Woodinville? Admittedly most mortals can't eat there regularly.

And next door you can get a half dozen beer samples for a dollar at the Red Hook tour.
