intrepid, do you bake? I've never eaten one as good as mine, and the recipe is from Polly-O. Verrrry easy.

If you still want to buy, be sure it's from a place that sells Italian pastries.

Good choice intrepid. Venieros has absolutely the best ricotta cheesecake I've ever had anywhere - moist, dense and perfect.

Hi, I'm looking for the italian ricotta cheesecake recipe from the polly-o cookbook. I lost my cookbook. Would you share it with me? I'd be grateful.

You should try the Home Cooking Board. Someone there may have it.

There's a really good Italian deli in Eastchester called J&G deli. They make ricotta cheesecake only to order. It has a hint of lemon, so yummy. Once in a while they'll have some by the slice or a small cake around the holidays. If you want a big one, just call them.

Don't know if they would do the whole pie for you, but La Manda's in White Plains used to do an amazing ricotta cheesecake.
