I do have sympathy for the employees. It was a nice place. Their espressos were a bit rough and tumble, but among the best in the area. Try SOVA on H Street. Hopefully the storefront will host yet another Coffee Shop. Hopefully the employees will find new jobs. I have fond memories of Roasters on the Hill circa 1990. SOVA is more a hipster place with a lot of seating (hidden upstairs and in the back). They make solid espressos and espresso drinks. Sidamo is also pretty good. They owner is very nice.
