driving down john r this morning, i saw that a place named rib city moved into the old hooters (just north of maple). anyone have any experience with or anything to say about this place? a good bbq place close to home sure would be nice.

Pretty good food. Super tender baby backs, on the small side though. Super hungry? You'll need a rack and a half. Still under twenty bucks. STL are great. Sides and desserts are pretty good too. A decent value without all the FD hype. My kids actually like it too. Kid friendly is better than going to a bar for family dinner.

Very scared...I made the mistake of eating there. The ribs were so small, like from a suckling pig...Not Kidding. You will leave hungry. The sides were equally subpar. The smoked turkey was sliced off a turkey roll and not true smoked turkey. The only smoke came with the mirrors. I'd be surprised if their ribs didn't come vacuum sealed and they just reheated them. The post below has to be from an employee.
