best Korean food in Sacramento?

mausi Mar 20, 2008 04:14 PM

I have been to Oz, which seems a little over the top, but not bad overall.
My favorite has been the Korea House for the past years, but there seems to be fluctuation in food and service due to frequent ownership changes.
Does anyone have some other suggestions for me?
I would appreciate it.
I lam interested in the Bulgoki, the Kalbi, the Chop Chey, the Yakimandu, the soups and some of the Kimchis but am open to all suggestions.

You have just about covered it all. Those are the two best K-restos in Sac. All others are at least two or three pegs down. Oz has that all you can eat BBQ on week nights.

I like the banchan and beef soondubu at Cho Dang Tofu House. I haven't gone far beyond those items and the dolsot bibimbap. There's a little shop next door that has various mountain vegetables that they sell as well.

The cheapest fix is the restaurant inside the Koreana Supermarket. But the best quality banchan are at Cho Dang Tofu House.
