I am looking for a bottle of sherry that follows along the lines of the 1927- sweet, viscous, and around 20$. Grape and color are not important (im willing to try most anything). I am a complete novice when it come to sherry and was wondering if anyone could make some suggestions that I might enjoy. Thank! I like this myself in a sherry. Lustau wines are reputable and well-thought of. I have liked some and been disappointed by others including either a PX or other Cream. If you can find it anywhere, Let me recommend you to Valdespina (sp?) - super-rich and unctuous - don't let the packaging bother you. I don't know if NY to MA shipment is possible, but I highly recommend PJ WIne for their extensive sherry selection and knowledge. If you call them they will happily discuss sherries with you. PJ can't be beat for an incredible selction of all whole range of Spanish wines.
