Opening day: where to watch and chow

Red Sox opening day is Tuesday, 6:00am, live from Japan! Hooray!

I'm a bit stumped about where to watch--Soundbites has TVs over the bars IIRC, which isn't a bad choice.

It'd have to be on the red line (gotta get to work sometime).

Any ideas?

FYI: Joshua Tree in Davis will open if demand is strong enough: so far 5 people in the last 30 minutes have called asking if they will be open. If you can rally a group or RSVP to the JT, it'd be fun :)

Soundbites opens at 7.
Rosebud Diner has small TVs.

There are many places downtown that plan to be open (Cask&Flagon, Game On, Daisy Bucs, Pour House), or so the blogs are saying.

Miracle of Science is open for breakfast, has TVs, and is on the Redline I think...

The breakfasts and coffee at Elephant & Castle downtown are reliably not repugnant (how's that for an effusive compliment?), and they open regularly at 6:30.
