Cheap, Chow-ish Eats near GBMC

My wife and I are going to be spending a lot of time in and around the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) over the next couple of weeks (Childbirth Classes, Baby Delivery, etc). Does anyone have some cheap, chow-ish, possibly ethnic recommendations for quick dinners/lunches?

Thanks in advance!

Andrew

No ideas..but I just wanted to say how interesting...as I work at GBMC as a NICU RN ...but I live in Catonsville so I never really eat anywhere around there( Bag lunchin' it!)....but Towson does have a good amount of restaurants so I am sure you will get a lot of recommendations!

I assume you all are expecting? You picked a great hospital to deliver at! I used to work on Postpartum...so I know firsthand you will be treated very nicely. If I assumed correctly...congratulations!

Szechuan House is 7 minutes NE on York Rd above 695, cheap, fast, great, and they deliver. Peppermill is nearby that, senior-citizen central, which means calm and relatively inexpensive, competent servers, slight dressup feel, decent fish and lambchops, the staff will be delighted to see you as you'll be their age. Many places in downtown Towson are student-oriented and not worth the parking hassle, but there is a Kabob Hut and Moxley's ice cream near the Barnes and Noble at the traffic circle.

I think my fellow and I are in the same boat - we are going for the all day class at the end of April. While I haven't been there in a while, and haven't heard many comments about it recently, I used to really like Frisco Burrito. Solid black bean tacos and other healthy fare (although lots of meat options too) and definitely cheap and quick.
