Recommendation for 6 in midtown, no ethnic food

OK so got good advice on S&W's grille last night, fit the bill perfectly for a quick casual bite.

Now looking for a good place to take a bunch of coworkers (6 total) to have a nice dinner out. Nothing too avant garde or ethnic (no sushi, indian etc). But looking for something interesting (not touristy) and not totally outrageously priced. $20 entrees or so. We're staying at the W on Lexington and 50th and others are at the Sheraton Towers on 7th and 53rd.

  1. West Bank Cafe, on 42nd St., b/t 9th & 10th Avs., serves delicious New American cuisine. Service is friendly and capable. The space has attractive decor, comfortable seating, and is conversation-friendly. Prices fit your budget.

    1. Il Tinello on 56th between 5th and 6th.

Il Corso on 55th between 5th and 6th.
