Polish or Ukranian Deli - for Easter Stuff

Steph24 Mar 19, 2008 11:03 AM

For Easter our family usually gets perogies, kielbasa etc. from Czehoski's sausages on the Queensway. It's a tradition to line up early Saturday to get everything we need. Unfortunately Czehoski's has closed! We also used to get stuff from the Drury Street Deli on Bloor street West but that is gone too. Can anyone suggest a good deli of this type in Etobiocoke? I have sort of left it to the last minute and am panicking. I need you Toronto Chowhounds! Any help would be really appreciated.

I highly recommend Starsky on Dundas, West of the 427.

    Happy Easter!

starkys is great, but if you don't want to make a trip to the far west end, Bennas on roncy is good too

If you don't mind hopping in your car check out Karpaty. They have 4 locations and the closest one would be the one on the Lakeshore. Check out www.karpaty.ca

They have the locations and directions on their website and super food and a great selection.
