Just wondering what did you/have you eaten today?? I had a cookie from a mexican bakery with my coffee for breakfast, tater tot hotdish( I know, I know...actually it wasn't that bad, but hunger is the best seasoning) in the school cafeteria with my students for lunch, and I have no idea what we're doing for dinner. I kind of feel like making Vegetable Soup. I have conferences tonight, so it's going to be crazy. Not much of a CH today, but last night we went to eat at Manana, and the two of us shared a chicken burrito with salad, rice, beans, a mexican soda, tortillas and a pupuseria(I don't know if I spelled that right). Ten bucks with food left over! We also went to the Tea House for lunch, and had pork buns, scallion pancakes and kung pao chicken. They had really good lunch specials, but I wouldn't say it was my favorite. I'm not a huge Chinese fan though.

jennie -- you may want to specify MSP in the subject line after "What's For Dinner?" (assuming you want MSP focused responses). Otherwise, this thread will get moved over to the General Topics board.

For what it's worth, I had oatmeal and coffee, then a cup of chili and salad bar at my office cafeteria (Aramark). I'm now finishing my "Starbucks" French Roast coffee (also from my company's convenience store/espresso bar). Also very non-Chowish, although our company cafeteria is excellent (believe it or not). I have no problems eating there.

Hi Folks - sorry for the interruption, but please keep the replies focused on local chow. If you want to discuss what you are cooking, please do so on the Home Cooking Board.

Thank you!
