Any suggestions for good eats before a game at the new Prudential Arena? Either in arena or closeby? Thanks in advance

Are you going for a Devils game? If so, they do have a good amount of options in the arena (the one time I was there for another event half the stands were closed). If I remember correctly they have a number of different options - Portugese, paninis, sushi, BBQ and Greek. There's also a restaurant in the arena which has decent food. It's about $35/person for the buffet, but the seats give you a great view of the hockey game. Unfortunately there's not really much in terms of food in the general area unless you feel like walking down to the Ironbound for Portugese food. That's probably about a ten minute walk. Hope this helps.
