One night in DC.. where to eat?

doctorj Mar 18, 2008 03:19 AM

Hi folks!

My brother and I are visiting my cousin who studies in Georgetown. We only have one night -- a Friday - to eat a good meal.

We'd like to try something fun, good quality food in good portions... and something locals really love. Any suggestions? We'd really appreciate it. THANKS SO MUCH!

I highly recommend Hook. (But only if everyone eats seafood). Hook is one of the hot new restaurants in town and the hype is totally worth it. The food is all fresh and delicious. Also the crudo appetizers are full of flavor and fun to choose from.

Hook really is incredible, and would be fun, the entree portions aren't small, but they aren't huge just so you know it is sized so you can also have a first course in my opinion. But the locals are loving :)

We also really like 2 Amy's Pizza, and the Palena Cafe.
