Anyone tried Citrio in Newton Highlands?

I had a cup of tea there and an oatmeal cookin which was divine -even for a pedestrian choice. Also the gelee was delicious - it is an intense fruit chewy gem.
Thank you

Just had some nice tarts/pies at a friend's house that were from Citrio-- a cherry peach (I think) and an apple. Very tasty.

This place is excellent, I highly recommend the roast beef sandwich and any of the salads. Also, their homemade marshmellows are fantastic.

Yes! And I'm totally hooked on the chicken with lime soup and the grilled vegetable panini (it's got grilled fennel! sigh...). So good...I'll be back for more!

Just tried it on Saturday (June 14th) - was back there today, and will keep going back. I shared the pizette of the day on Saturday with salad and a dolce de leche ice cream. All excellent. Thin crispy just baked to order pizza base with a delicious red topping and scallops just cooked right... still drooling. Salad was perfect, and home made icecream was GOOOOOOOOOOD.
Today had the chicken and lime Sancocho soup - I am going back tomorrow, and possibly every day until I have gotten through the menu. wonderful, foody, freshly cooked, imaginative and wholesome.

Yes...and it was delicious. I had a grilled/pannini sandwich - veggie. It was large, so I decided before tasting it that I would only eat half, and save the rest for later. Couldn't do it! I ate the whole thing right there. I'll definitely be back. (only problem is their hours...only open from 11am - 7pm. and I think they're even closed on Sunday).

by the way, regarding catsmeow message below, about Walnut St. Mkt around the corner -- that's an interesting place for international foods. And an out-of-the-ordinary selection of beers, too. try the homemade eggplant dip mixed with the persian yogurt.

The chicken pot pie was disappointing. Even though I followed the chef's instructions for reheating it, the crust was still pale and soggy by the time the filling started bubbling out of the container. The sauce was like a cream of chicken soup and very peppery. I think there was more sauce than chicken and the only vegetables were three carrot rounds.

That's too bad. The things I've tried were really good. Did you call and tell them? As a business owner, I always apprecated feedback, both good and bad, from our customers. They seemed very eager to please when I was there.

I stumbled on it yesterday. I was going to the Walnut St Mkt around the corner(a CH rec) for their bagels and white fish salad. There was a sign on the door saying they'd be back in 2 minutes, so I walked down the block to kill time and stumbled on Citrio. Wow!! I tasted their chicken/lime soup(I don't remember the name of it). Wonderful!!!! I love soup and am very picky. I got a quart to go. The one change I would make is how they packaged the bread that came with the soup, They placed it on top of the soup carton and then wrapped it in plastic. The soup was in a cardboard container. The cover softened and by the time I got home, the bread had sunk into the cover and was soaked full of soup. Next time, I'll have them pack the bread seperately. I also tried a homemade marshmellow and a cup of Ginger tea(it was Mums). They also have homemade ice cream that looked good...but then again what ice cream doesn't. I'll be trying that when it gets warmer. I also got their chocolate bread pudding that came preportioned. It looked like it was enough for 2, but is actually enough for 3-4, due to it's richness. Several other things looked really good too. They had a menu out for ordering for Passover. I'll probably try a few things. A nice find!
