I don't know when fig season is....I could be way off, but has anyone seen fresh figs in Toronto? I'm willing to travel to get them.

You could try Nasr foods on Lawrence at Pharmacy. Great middle eastern grocery store.

If not, Harvest Wagon is usually good for things no one else has.

You can definitely find them at Harvest Wagon, I saw some there on the week-end.

I saw some at Whole Foods on the weekend but they were $1.99 each.

They can often be found at one of the two produce vendors near the northeast corner upstairs at St. Lawrence Market. The two right across from each other near the entrance at Jarvis.

which ones the dark ones or the green ones?
I have seen the green ones this week at the Pusateri's on Church south of Wellesley and the dark ones at SLM at the fruit/veg stand to the east of the Rice place on the lower floor
