Freemans- Give it to me Straight

I'd like to go to Freemans on Saturday but we're a group of 4, so no reservations. At peak time (8/9) on a Saturday, how hellish will the wait be? Are we still talking over an hour or has it died down a bit there?
Thanks in advance for any info!
I haven't been for dinner in a while, but if my wait on Sunday is any indication, I don't think that it's died down at Freeman's. At 2:30 with a party of 3 we waited about 45 mins for lunch and then didn't end up getting our food until sometime after 4. Dustin Hoffman and Romi from Project Runway were there, so apparently Freemans is still a "hotspot" or whatever.
Even after they expanded the dining room last year, there are still 1 hour+ waits most nights of the week and for weekend brunch.
If you want to sit around 8/8:30, I'd advise showing up at 6:30 or 7 and finding a space at he bar for some drinks (they have a great menu) and an appetizer or two. If you show up later than 8:30 on a Saturday night, the waiting list might already be closed.
yeah, i only go for brunch because i love that damn cheddar and watercress sandwich. i was there at 12:30 on sunday and it was really really crowded. ended up getting a table at the bar after about a 4 minute wait.
usually i wont deal with that kind of stuff...i decided recently that spotted pig's food is horrible when its super uber crowded so i dont go anymore. but freemans' food is solid...and you cant get there food in many nyc spots.
