Campton Place for brunch?

how do - trying to plan an elegant sit-down brunchie thing for my mother's 70th bday. 15 or so people, great food, in SF, no buffets. CP's three-course brunch looks good, but I've never been. Thoughts? Other suggestions would be most helpful as well. Thanks in advance..

I haven't been there in years, but a 70 year old lady will love the Palace Court for brunch. A bit pricey, but a memorable occasion.

Campton Place would be an excellent choice. Beware of the champagne cart though...it's an easy way to rack up the bill. Cafe Majestic could be great as well. It's one of my favorite spots for dinner, but I have yet to go for brunch.

Cafe Majestic comes to mind in the same vein, although I haven't been since the new chef arrived. My experiences at Campton Place for lunch and bar snacks/dessert were enjoyable for the price, but a bit formal.
