Breakfast Cafe in NYC

Taking a day off of work, kids and husband. Want to start my day off with a leisurely breakfast - not a huge breakfast. One with great coffee, croissants etc. Pastis maybe?

Any suggestions? I'm coming into Grand Central and may head to Soho - anywhere between those two areas.
