ISO: Phyllo-wrapped cheesecake

A friend has requested 'phyllo wrapped cheesecake' for a birthday dinner dessert... not sure I have the skill/patience to tackle making one... any leads on where i can buy such a dessert?

This is so easy to do, I wouldn't worry about finding it somewhere, because other than Jump in commerce court, I'm not really sure where you could find it. Just buy some good supermarket phyllo, melt some butter, and it's like wallpapering a cheesecake slice, just make sure that you are using a frozen cheesecake to wrap. If it's not frozen, it's really difficult. Then you just panfry the pieces until browned slightly, so simple.

This isn't in the GTA area, but if anybody is looking for phyllo-wrapped cheesecake in the KW area, Wildcraft has it on their dessert menu. Not sure if they make it themselves, but it was good!

Corner House has a fantastic version. I would check with them.
