Limes for a dessert but not key Lime pie any other

How about a coconut lime poundcake, or Martha's lime meltaway cookies? I also think the lime (vs. lemon) squares would be really good!

All of these sound good. I would add that Nigella Lawson has a recipe for a zucchini cake with lime curd filling and cream cheese frosting that is incredible.

I made Ina garten's lime curd tart ? or pie.
curd I made tart, but this curd id great with fresh strawberry.
we ate curd as dip for strawberry more than tart.

Instead of lemon squares, try lime squares. We can rarely get lemons when we are in Mexico, so I've converted the lemon square recipe to lime and it works really well.
