Sun Mar 16 13:44:36 -0700 2008 56230 hamstrman 1 3498953 You might try some of the chinese bakeries on 8th avenue - some of them offer sticky rice cake with red bean or chopped up peanut and sugar inside - with shredded coconut on the surface. those fried glutinous rice balls with red bean inside and sesame seeds on the surface are also pretty good. At Ba Xuyen, they have a range of interesting SE asian desserts, including some with palm sugar or pandan. Not the same stuff as sriprapai but in the same spectrum.
