    1. UPDATE: sorry, I just noticed on their calendar that tomorrow, March 16, their Cafe Pacific (where they have brunch) is closed.

      Sorry!!

This may be too much, but it's super-upscale: the expensive-as-heck Sunday brunch buffet at the fancy restaurant on Donald Trump's golf course in PV, Trump National Golf Club.

Okay, I just went to their website and I didn't see a mention of the buffet, but I did see a lunch menu; here's a link:
      http://www.trumpnationallosangeles.co...

      also on the website:
      Reservations are recommended.
      Call (310) 303-3260

It's expensive but the food is above-average (not smashingly good for what they charge), but the view is unbelievably breathtaking and totally worth it.

      Good luck!

I just had a wonderful dinner at a fairly new restaurant in long Beach called Michael's on Naples..not sure if they are open for lunch but it was one of the best meals I have had in Long Beach for quite some time...maybe check them out, they are on 2nd street.

      2. The decor is not the nicest (think retrofitted coffee shop) but the food at Chez Melange for brunch/lunch is pretty good. Down in Long Beach, there is Lasher's.

        Chez Melange

        1. Perhaps Tracht's in Long Beach? It's tough finding GOOD upscale places in the South Bay.

Not open for Sunday lunch other than a bar menu.
