Can someone suggest any decent restaurants open past 1:00 a.m. in the San Fernando Valley?

Decent? I dunno. There's Mel's Drive-In in Sherman Oaks and Du-Par's (open till 4am on weekends) in Studio City... and the usual chain crap.

Try Sitton's (24 hours) in North Hollywood, on Magnolia between Tujunga and Lankershim. The neighborhood is full of recording studios, etc., so there's a good reason for them to stay open; a plus: cheap, good coffee shop food.

And there's always Jerry's Deli in Studio City, the last 24 hour hold-out of theirs that I know of - the Encino site now closes, albeit late.

      A good Thai...
      Sanamluang Cafe
      12980 Sherman Way..(about 1/2 mile west of the 170.)
      North Hollywood
      818 764 1180
      Open 'til 4:00am
Extensive Thai/Chinese Menu...Waitresses are nice people, but they're alaways on the job trainees if
      you know what I mean.
