Hi All,

Craving a decent corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut and mustard very desperately.

  1. Which delis have you tried? I've had a good corned beef reuben at Brent's, so you figure that it'd still be a good sandwich minus the russian dressing.

    1. Billy's in Glendale. Whatever you may think of the place, they make a mean corned beef on rye -- you can get sauerkraut, and they bring various mustards to your table upon request.

Thanks to you both! I also figured Langer's would do a decent job... but I'm a little intimidated by the long lines there.

Are there usually long lines at Langer's? I guess I usually go closer to closing and it's usually only semi-busy.

      2. Brent's is very, very good.
Not sure about Langer's but because they have such excellent pastrami, I have never even thought about ordering their corned beef.

Where is Brent's? I keep hearing about it, but I can't find an exact address?

On Parthenia in Northridge, adding a link below.

There's also a Westlake Village location.

                Brent's Deli
2799 Townsgate Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91361

        2. Nate n' Als' in Beverly Hills makes a great corned beef sandwich and they have delicious sauerkraut. This would be my first choice When you are seated, the server immediately brings a dish of sauerkraut and some yummy pickles. Order a corned beef sandwich on that great double baked rye and you are set. Enjoy!

Thanks, m. I'm almost never in that neighborhood, but if I'm close... I will check it out!

          2. Gotta go old school and say Canter's on Fairfax. Jerry's Deli in Studio City is also good if you don't mind paying their high prices...but the sandwiches are really big and the food is good quality. Good people watching too.
