Good cheap eats in Truckee or Tahoe City

I am looking for GOOD Mexican food, or any other kind of food in the North Lake Tahoe Area (Northstar). Also, isnt there a great Basque Family style restaurant in Reno?

Louie's Basque Corner on 4th is in Reno. Always loved this place, but was a bit disappointed on my last visit - could have just been an off night.
