Rec's for Great Casual Lunch Salad/Sandwiches (SoMA, Mission, Shopping Areas)

Hi,

I am not sure exactly where I will be walking around and doing a bit of shopping and sightseeing in the city, but I can basically take a taxi anywhere. Please give me some great recommendations for a lunch place with great salads and sandwiches, with maybe even a cool atmosphere.

You are bordering Yerba Buena Gardens and I'd head to Samovar Tea Lounge, my favorite lunch spot in that neighborhood. Great view, very interesting menu, and only open for lunch.

How about The Ferry Building Farmers Market... anything good in there? Also I will travel a few minutes, so don't let the neighborhoods restric too much.

If you search around for the Ferry Plaza, you will get VOLUMINOUS recommendations of where to eat there... It is San Francisco's own culinary Mecca.
