Saturday brunch in Murray Hill help!

I searched the boards and only found Penelope. We are not interested in waiting that long for brunch again. I would like something in the 30's. Nice menu, reasonable price. I would appreciate any help.

  1. If you're willing to wander up to 40th St. @ 2nd Ave, I highly recommend Cibo. The brunch is a few dollars more than listed on menupages, but the menu is about right. Call for the current price. I don't think it's more than $25.

    1. Just a few blocks south of the 30's, Turkish Kitchen, on 3rd, b/t 27th & 28th Sts., offers a Sunday buffet brunch. Although we've eaten there many times, we haven't done the brunch because I don't care for buffets. They take reservations.

With regard to Jane A.'s rec of Cibo, we haven't been there for brunch in ages, but it was very good when did go. Very nice atmospherics, and they take reservations. The restaurant is on the corner of 2nd & 41st. You can see the brunch info on their website.

      1. Brunch at Hudson Place, 3rd ave & 36th - www.hudsonplacenyc.com - is awesome. I've never not loved what I've ordered there. My personal favorite is the eggs benedict (and they have a couple different kinds!) but you can't really go wrong there. It's where I go when the line is way too long at Penelope, haha.

        1. There's an all-u-can-drink Bellini brunch at Icon ($35)

          1. Artisinal is a treat. You can make a reservation. It is either on 33rd or 32nd, around Park Ave. We were there a few weeks ago for brunch on Sunday at thought it was really great. There is something for everyone, from omelets, to cheese plates and fondues, to steak frites. My sister was in town and we went with her and husband, my son & niece, both 22, and my mother, and we all loved it.
