I am in Santa Monica with my crew from Seattle; we eat any type of food and i would like to take the four of us out.. steak? Italian? Asian noodles?

Lots of great restaurants in Santa Monica, with this weather, pick something with a patio.

Whist at Viceroy, by the pool, under a cabana.
        Abode on the patio
        Michael's on the patio
Catch at Casa del Mar (great view, great food)
        Capo

These are all chef-driven restaurants with something for everyone. Great steaks at all.

Other ideas, for more of a party/hip atmosphere (although Viceroy is happening)
        Hidden
        Chaya Venice
        MaKai

        There's also
        Chinois
        Boa
Ivy at the Shore (quintessential LA)
        Tengu
Chez Jay (local favorite dive/steak place)
        World Cafe

My favorite patio dining in SM is Wilshire--fresh, organic ingredients, beautiful outdoor atmosphere, great drinks, and good service.

Musha has great selection of Japanese izakaya-type dishes to be had with sake/beer.

La Botte has the best Italian. Get the chef's tasting menu--fabulous food and excellent service.

            Def Musha.

If you're interested in Polish, try Warszawa.

For lunch, hit up Bay Cities Deli and/or Father's Office.

In addition to Josie and Via Veneto (one of my LA Italian faves), there's Melisse and Jiraffe.

Are you interested at all in sushi? Quite a few options not too far if ya are...
