Dinner near Silver Lake

joanW2002 Mar 14, 2008 01:15 PM

We will be visiting L.A. next week, staying with friends near Silver Lakes. We have children ranging from 21 to 7 and we're looking for a nice but not-too-pricey restaurant for a nice dinner. (Isn't everyone?) This is our first visit. any suggestions much appreciated. Many thanks

I'd say Edendale is a poorish idea for a bunch of kids, except for the 21-year-old, who can stand at the bar and order real drinks from a real bartender

What are you-all looking for? What do the assorted kids like or not like? Will you have use of a car? Silverlake is on the cusp of both Thaitown and Little Armenia, each with a multitude of places, and also has a bunch of places only patronized by the too-cool-for-words.

Some places that come to mind are the Edendale Grill and Cha Cha Cha.
