We thought that their drink and appetizer prices were a little high. We had martini's at $10.50 each. We tried their fried clams and their carpaccio. The carpaccio was good. The "quick fried crispy clams" seemed to be the prebreaded, frozen type. The clams were not very crispy and they were a little fishy. The bar tender was pleasant. Relaxing spot in the afternoon. Anyway, here's the on-line menu's note for Il Vesco Vino's happy hour: EARLY (Mon - Fri 4PM to 6PM) ~ LATE (Mon - Thur 9PM to 11PM) * selected food items $3 off (kitchen closes at 10PM) *$1 off - all tap beers *$2 off - all quartinos *$1 off - all well drinks To me, a Ketel One martini doesn't quite sound like a well drink and so there would be no happy hour special. Same martini at Morton's, Bank or Mission is $11 (IIRC) but the glass is larger than the one's at Nye's. (At least the Morton's glass.) I have watched them being made at each place. We will pay $4.00 less per drink for the same drink and level of service any day.
