Best food near space needle?
Hi Everyone,
i am in town with some friends until Saturday. Tomorrow we want to visit the space needle and underground tour. What's the best, inexpensive place to eat around or between those areas? I have been a chowhounder for a while and love great food of any ethnicity/type but before to find something that is just best in Seattle. I usually love hole-in the wall places where the food is phenomenal though other things can be compromised.
Thanks in advance.

I second the motion for fresh alder-smoked salmon from Pure Food.
El Puerco Lloron.
get the carne asada taquitos and some homemade tortillas.

Between and/or near those two points you have all of downtown seattle, including belltown, the market, the ID, plus queen anne, south lake union and capitol hill.
If you're looking for ethinc hole-in-the-walls, go to the ID (which is close to pioneer square where the underground tour is). Otherwise, I'd go to the baguette box on pine in capitol hill. It's just yummy.
