so, im driving through new haven on my way home, i stop for pies at sallys, pepes and the modern. whats the best way to get them home to boston? sub optimal, i agree. but who are we kidding? who wouldnt eat them?
Might be best to get something that is half or 3/4 baked and then finish it in your oven at home.
I would probably not drive with them in the car until they have cooled. The cheese from hot pizza can slide off while it's jostling in a car.
