      Go to Chick-fil-A

Get the original with a side of buffalo sauce

      Heaven

What's Chick-fil-A? I looked at their website - nothing in LA, never heard of it, either.

I like the buffalo chicken sandwich at The Slice, Wilshire and 10th in Santa Monica.

Chick-fil-A is the best, worst thing to happen to SoCal. They're a southern chain specializing in fried chicken sandwiches.

They are to fried chicken sandwiches what Krispy Kreme is to donuts; They are utterly addictive and delicious and just as bad for you (the sodium is off the charts). That's why I'll be there tomorrow morning for breakfast and then food coma for the rest of the weekend.

A Pasadena-centric list of SoCal locations:

No, the best thing to happen to SoCal. Ironically, Chik-fil-A always sounds best on Sunday (but they are closed on Sunday).

Don't remember if it's breaded, but Red Robin makes a pretty good version.

Hooters buffalo chicken sandwich tossed in 911 sauce(but you can order it with any of their sauces) and topped with provolone. Amazing!

I hate to recommend a chain, but Grand Luxe Cafe at the Bev Center has a fabulous Buff Chix Sand. From the menu "Crispy Coated Chicken Breast with Our Spicy Buffalo Sauce and Melted Cheese. Served on a Brioche Bun with Fries"
