Any rec's for St. Patrick's Day?

Hi All - Looking for suggestions on where to go celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Mainly looking to have a good crowd, but good food/drinks = bonus. Do any of the various Irish pubs/bars around town stand out? Are there any non-Irish places worth checking out?

Is it really worth it? My advice: hit an irish bar or pub on saturday and avoid the standing in line and drunken frenzy. A lot of Irish I know do the same thing. They find the American pub crammers rude and insulting.

Someone told me recently they always go Mexican on St. Patricks and Irish on Cinco De mayo. They say it's better that way.

IF you INSIST, go to Ireland's 32 on Burbank in Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks. Be ready to encounter lines, crowds and idiots whichever Irish place you go.

I have got to tell you, those Irish coffees are pretty damn good. I could go for one right now.

Go to Bergin's for an Irish Coffee BEFORE WORK. Being wired and drunk only works in the morning. Trust me.
