So, I heard this rumor that there's a Thai restaurant where the waiters that serve you are dressed as Elvis impersonators... It's my boyfriend's bday coming up and I want to arrange for a big party to go someplace fun, interactive and different...

If you know of this Elvis place.. PLEASE let me know... Or for that matter, if you have any recommendations... I'm all ears!!!

Thanks!

  1. I haven't been there myself, but some of my friends go--said it gets really crowded--it's in Hollywood, not sure of the name, I'm sure someone reading this will know more details--I think it's called the Palms or something like that.

    1. Palm Thai Restaurant, in Thaitown.

No Elvis waiters, just one Thai elvis who sings like hell with a lot of gusto. And some other performers. It's all mixed together.

Good things there: green curry, other curries, fried fishes with chili vinegar garlic sauce. Bad things: various beef and chicken with vegetable dishes.

And don't forget deep fried quail and bbq beef with garlic and lime.

          And don't forget:

          - Wild boar curry
          - Fried trout w Mango sauce
          - Grilled sausage Issan
          - BBQ Squid
          - Morning glories

Elvis only sings on a couple nights a week, and they get crowded, so try to make a reservation.

      2. also check Thailand Plaza (next door to Palm Thai) which has ocassional Thai Elvis sightings - place is big, has plenty of parking & food is good -
