Pho Show - Any News?

Does anybody know if the westside pho place has opened yet?

Tried it and it wasn't very good. Weak broth and gummy noodles. 2 or 3 pieces of beef as well. I was very bummed. Would love to find a good Pho restaurant on the Westside. I can't make it to Alhambra for lunch.

Has anyone gone to that Pho place, near Sawtelle kitchen, just south of La Grange, on Sawtelle? I always see people there, but haven't tried it yet, out of fear it will be like every other awful Pho place that I have been.

If you're talking about Phoreign, I've been there. It's not awful. It's just barely mediocre. I had the beef pho and it was tasteless. The serving size was small considering the price. The only redeeming thing about it is that they have a vegetarian pho option which I guess would work out if you have vegetarians in your group.

No veggieheads here, darn. Well, thanks Pandan... I'll keep looking. Guess I'll have to stick with the neighborhood RamenYa for now. =)

Drove by yesterday. The place looks ready with a big "PHOSHOW" sign outside, and a sheet of paper taped on a window said "Grand Open June 16th." !!!!!!!
I'm praying this place will be decent!! We need a good pho shop on westside sooooooo baaaaaaad!

Ha ha ha! THAT'S what I was thinking. They pronounce it "Fwaah," right? Ah yes, nothing like getting lost in translation.

                    Something like that...

definitely not FO-SHO like the name of the restaurant implies.

the place is completely bare - no chairs, tables, just an empty room - with a ladder forlornly sitting in the middle just as it has for weeks. seems like there might've been a change of plans or second thoughts about opening a pho place on that stretch. but the name's still up.

Near Washington in Culver City. Also new wine bar Vinoteque going in there, at Sepulveda and Braddock.

The name is enough to keep me away :)

I went By tonight to see if I could get some Pho. It was not open. Since Sepulveda was a Zoo I did not get a close look.
