Monte Alban tiene huevos y ellos tienen nopales... Just ask them and I'm sure they'll combine the two. They're nothing but accommodating in my experience.

I used to eat cactus and eggs almost every weekend when Merida in Pasadena was still around. I'll have to try Monte Alban.

nopales=cactus? ooooh, y no say so in the first place!!! i cant recall ever eating it, maybe one day, i'll feel adventurous.

La Parilla in Boyle Heights has nopales in some of their dishes. I had it in their molcajete dinner special. If they are open for breakfast, I imagine they would make eggs with nopales.

Was just at Tonny's in pasadena, they have it on the menu, didn't try it though. next time.

I saw them on the menu at Pico Pico Rico, a taqueria in Sherman Oaks (on Magnolia, just west of Kester). They also have good huaraches con nopales.
