Monte Alban tiene huevos y ellos tienen nopales... Just ask them and I'm sure they'll combine the two. They're nothing but accommodating in my experience.
Where is Monte Alban?
Sorry... West LA. It's on Santa Monica in the shopping center at the intersection with Brockton, which is a block east of Bundy.
i no understando spanisho... what he say?
He wants to know where to find huevos con nopales, friendo.
I used to eat cactus and eggs almost every weekend when Merida in Pasadena was still around. I'll have to try Monte Alban.
nopales=cactus? ooooh, y no say so in the first place!!! i cant recall ever eating it, maybe one day, i'll feel adventurous.
La Parilla in Boyle Heights has nopales in some of their dishes. I had it in their molcajete dinner special. If they are open for breakfast, I imagine they would make eggs with nopales.

Was just at Tonny's in pasadena, they have it on the menu, didn't try it though. next time.
I saw them on the menu at Pico Pico Rico, a taqueria in Sherman Oaks (on Magnolia, just west of Kester). They also have good huaraches con nopales.
