I eat lunch there about every other week. For office stiffs like myself, the half salads are good enough to get you through the day without having any fried content, although I doubt they're "healthy". They taste pretty good too (favorite: santa barbara). It beats a burger day after day. Sandwiches aren't bad either. The ones on egg-spun rolls (whatever that is) are pretty good. ....it can't all be four star.

re: sike101
Sike, I too go to Bakers Bros for lunch with office mates. On a visit about 2 weeks ago, I was informed they no longer did the half salads. Their regular salads are now smaller (and a little less expensive than before). I still found it to be too much food for me. Bummer. I liked the salads there better than the sandwiches.

re: LewisvilleHounder
Let me expand on what LewisvilleHounder is saying in that Baker Bros, like McAlisters, is a very good chain. Keep that in mind when you visit. If you expect quality to rival the Carnegie or any other famous NYC deli you may be disappointed. Take it on it's own terms. That said, I enjoyed the Kentucky Club, and I've never been disappointed with the soups, either the Texas Chili or the Baked Potato. Both will warm you up quite nicely on a cold day.
